ACLU Infiltrating Delaware Schools
Unless Delaware schools concentrate intensely on improving academic performance, we will keep failing our children in educating and preparing them for successful adult lives. Our educational system has been dominated for too long by irrelevant social programming. To illustrate how severe the situation is, included here is the school board candidate objectives of the foremost social engineering group, the American Civil Liberties Union, or ACLU. Review these questions posed to our Indian River and Delaware School Board candidates, and you can see for yourself how far the left's agenda has deviated. The ACLU does not ask school board candidates any questions about how the candidates plan to improve reading and math outcomes, but rather if children's LGBQT+ rights will be supported and will they be shielded from ICE.
Newly Appointed Education Secretary Not Good for Delaware
These views are echoed by the recently appointed Secretary of Education, Cindy Marten, a Washington D.C. insider chosen by Joe Biden to be the Deputy Secretary of Education, who also worked in California's education system. In her initial statement as Delaware's Secretary of Education, she did not address the state's current educational crisis, where Delaware ranks 49th, but instead concentrated on educating and safeguarding immigrant students from school ICE raids, that are not occurring. ACLU 2025 School Board Candidate Questions
LGBQT+ Rights
ACLU Premise: "School Districts such as Red Clay Consolidated and Christina have implemented policies to create a culture in which transgender and gender diverse students feel safe, supported, and fully included by assuring access to the curriculum, social events, clubs, athletic participation, and all other basic curricular and extracurricular activities."
Q: "Will you commit to adopting or expanding policies in your school district which ensure that LGBTQ+ students are fully included in social events, clubs, athletic participation, and all other basic curricular and extracurricular activities?"
Immigration
ACLU Premise: "Immigrant students and their families have the right to access public education without fear of discrimination or intimidation."
Q: "Will you support a district-wide policy that protects students’ personal information (including immigration status), provides clear guidance on interacting with ICE, and ensures staff, students, and families are aware of relevant state, school, and community resources?"
School Discipline
ACLU Premise: "Research shows that the presence of police officers also known as school resource officers (SROs) can lead to disparate discipline for Black and brown students."
Q: "As a school board member, would you oppose adopting or continuing to implement school safety plans which include the use of SROs?"
Murph, forget metal detectors!
Freedom to Learn
ACLU Premise: "Book bans in school libraries are misguided attempts to suppress student ability to explore ideas, encounter new perspectives, and learn to think for themselves. These efforts target LGBTQ+ identities and censor discussions about how gender and sexuality impact people’s daily lives under the guise that such topics are not age appropriate."
Q: "Will you commit to protecting students’ ability to see themselves represented in the books they’re reading?"
The left's agenda is irrational and aims to contribute to the decline of American children and students, ultimately threatening hope and prosperity in Delaware. While the rest of the nation is waking up, Delaware remains significantly behind. Parents, grandparents, and educators in Delaware must take a stand for what is right and put an end to this. We should focus on teaching our children academics, not divisive and harmful Marxist propaganda!
Indian River Referendum Poll Watchers Needed
We need YOU, to not only vote on March 20th but ALSO to be a Poll Watcher! For school board referendums, voters do not have to be property owners nor registered voters. They must only show proof of residency in the district, which can be a license, or article of mail. OR if the voter does not have either, the voter may need only "affirm" that they are over 18, a U.S. citizen and a resident of the district, no proof required.

There is no required paperwork or authorization for Poll Watchers for the IRSD referendum and there may be five Poll Watchers at a polling location at a time. Your only qualification is to care about our elections and to be curious about the process! PLEASE let me know if you can be an IRSD Referendum Poll Watcher at any of the below poll locations any point during the day. Thank you! Email info@38thdrcp.com if you can be a Poll Watcher!
