Election SEASON is in FULL swing and the 38th District and Sussex County are CRUSHING it in voter turnout! Even the Trump Campaign has noticed the phenomenal voter turnout in Sussex County Delaware woot woot!
The Best Republican Voter turnout in the State is the 38th with 5,940 republican voters, which is already 51% of Republican voter turnout!
Question: Who's in second place for Republican voter turnout?
Answer: The 20th District in Lewes, where Nikki Miller is running, with 3,211 Republican votes so far. However, the 20th Republican turnout is still lagging compared to the democrat voter turnout of 3,964. Independent votes could push Nikki to a win!
The Worst district so far is the 3rd District, which is between Wilmington and Greenville, with 99 Republican voters. Wow. This district needs CPR.
What Are We Seeing Statewide?
Statewide we only see 17% total voter turnout (remember, compare that to voter turnout in the 38th which is 51%). Statewide what we are also seeing is that the percentage of Republican voter turnout is increasing, while democrat voter turnout is DECREASING. The democrat lead has dropped from 49% to 46% of the votes cast and the Republican votes cast has increased from 33% to 34%. Independent turnout remains low at 20% but if independents have finally had enough, and they come to their senses and vote with the Republicans, combined we would have 54% of the vote and that's a win!
Five More Days of Voting
With five more days of voting, in the 38th we are on target to reach 90% Republican voter turn out by November 5, but we've GOT to keep up the pressure because democrat voter turnout in the 38th is also 51%. In the 38th Republicans are still trouncing the democrats 48% to 32% in numbers. Statewide, we've got to keep up the pressure and target our candidate district races hard which the DE GOP is tackling as we speak.
What Is The Path to a Republican Victory?
It is still Get-Out-the-Republican vote. And it may mean targeting some of the worst districts for republican turnout, which are in NCC. Now the DE GOP texting app can target by county, not just voters near you, so consider trying it!
What We Are Doing RIGHT
We are still calling our voters, sending text messages and our commercials targeting independents are being seen. And we are continuing to raise funds for our GOTV endeavors, as we just had a successful fundraiser at Summer Salts with candidate for US Senate, Eric Hansen, DE GOP Vice Chair Jim Weldin, and New Castle County Region Chair Eric Braunstein. All three expressed how delighted they were with the 38th's spirit, enthusiasm and accomplishments. We appreciate the time they took out of their busy schedules to spend the evening with us, thank you Eric, Eric and Jim!

Election Day Nov 5 Greeters
If you are not Challenging, please be a greeter at your polling location. Please get up with your Election District Captains (EDCs). Please coordinate with your EDC for Greeter shifts, receival of your tent and Challenger shifts as needed. Email here to find out who your EDC is info@38thdrcp.com.
Doughnuts
Senator Hocker will have 10 boxes of doughnuts for Greeters for our ten polling locations. If there are no Greeters, we will then deliver to the war room or the polling location. Thank you, Senator Hocker!

Please plan to be at Mio Fratellos during the day to get the updated call lists as the final voters come in. We will be calling or texting everyone who has not voted as of Nov 5.
