Day 9 - Will DE Turn Red? Why We Can't Let Up Now

If we want to Win Red in the Delaware election, we need to keep working to Get Out the Vote all day on Election Day, without letting up! Some campaigns slack off, plan their election parties, have a day of rest. But Delaware Republican cannot afford to do that! DE GOP will be working all day on Nov 5 Election Day with the DE GOP War Room dedicated to our election victory on Nov 5 with a full staff, hotlines and attorneys.

How Are We Doing Statewide?

There are THREE more days of voting in Delaware, counting today. So far 27% of registered voters have voted early. And it is unknown how many more voters will come out to vote on actual Election Day vs who has turned out for Early Voting. From the numbers, what is becoming clear is that Republican voters are more engaged than ever, more than the democrats, and Republicans ARE coming out to vote, and are voting early! We now see the margin widening even more comparing republican turnout vs democrat turnout with 34% of registered republicans having voted and 27% of registered democrats having voted. If we can sustain this republican voter turnout, turning Delaware red IS possible! As of today, 11/2/2024, we only need 60% of Independents to vote with Republicans to win in Delaware! So what can YOU do to make this happen?? See below as to WHY and HOW we can't let up now, and have to push through that finish line!

County Republican Report

Sussex County has turned into the Republican voting engine that is sustaining the republican vote in Delaware. Sussex is less than half the population of NCC, yet we have produced 44% of the voter turn out in the state, compared to 39% in NCC and 17% in Kent County. Kent is actually right on target based on their population, so it is NCC that is lagging the most in voter turnout.

38th Republican Report

Three more days of voting and the 38th District has reach 67% of Republican voter turnout! By the end of today we will have surpassed last election turn out of 68%. Our stated goal is 90% voter turnout so let's keep those texts and phone calls going to elect Donald J. Trump and our statewide candidates!

From the emails I am receiving this is what I am hearing:

Not everyone has already made up their mind.

Yes, most people that vote make up their minds before Election Day. But there are always a few that don't. And we can still make that final pitch to any undecided voter.

People do forget to vote

People have busy lives. And many just forget about Election Day. As much as a lot of us political hacks love politics, most people could care less. Yes, they know it is important, but so is going to work, getting the kids to school, picking the kids up from school and sports, and making sure they are fed and do their homework. Therefore we will continue to send out texts to remind folks to vote early or on election day and where they can vote.

People don't know where to vote

With Early Voting being relatively new, most people do not know when or where they can vote early. Even if they decide to vote on Election Day, they may not know where they vote as so many polling locations have changed with redistricting and adding more polling locations.

People don't know they can walk in their absentee ballots

In Delaware voters can walk in their ballots to the polling place on Election Day.

In fact, many voters do just that.

The Bottom Line We Will Keep Working To Get Out the Vote!
