Double Celebration and Success for 38th Club Independence Day Parades

All I can say is WOW. Just WOW!! The amount of patriotic love that we saw displayed at the Bethany Beach Independence Day parade was amazing. And what was really amazing, was the amount of cheering, love of America, and make America Great again support was from CHILDREN. Overwhelmingly the support from the ground was practically universal, from all ages. Once folks saw our banner, who we were, our US flags and the Uncle Sams, the upwell of voices in support, chanting "USA" and "God Bless America", was uplifting to say the least. But it was the younger folks in the crowd, the college age kids, the teens and the youngsters, who just displayed an overwhelming love and support of all things America, that was just overwhelmingly uplifting, to really show, maybe for the first time for us, that there is hope to save the America that once was, the America of fairness, opportunity, liberty and love for their fellow patriot, and that hope, in our youngest citizens, is our future. They truly ARE the future of America, and with their love, American liberty can ring again.

Participation in the Bethany Beach Independence Day was a huge success and we WILL be doing this EVERY year! Our float was led by County Councilman candidate, Matt Lloyd, waving Old Glory like it was actual Independence Day; and our new banner, donated by the Pack family, was carried by the most patriotic group of teens you could ever meet. Our walking Patriotic Ambassadors handed out US flags and patriotic stickers to very eager young onlookers and Liberty Blue Thunder brought up the rear. We were announced at the judges stand as the "38th District Republican Club, Standing Up For What's Right!" again, to many cheers.

So be prepared to walk in the Bethany Beach Independence Day parade next year! Thank you Pack family, for encouraging the Club to participate in the parade, and Whit, for shuttling our Ambassadors to the parade. You made this event possible for us.

Patriotic Trump Boat Parade

And if we thought the Bethany Beach parade would be the peak of our weekend, on Saturday, the 38th District Republican Club and Patriot's Pride pontoon led the patriotic Trump Boat parade, the Freedom Flotilla, From Fenwick Island to Ocean City and back again. So many boating patriots joined from all parts of the bay, Delaware and Maryland, we lost count at 50 vessels, most joining the parade from the rally point off of Northside Park. We picked up the second contingency of our armada at the 90th street bridge, and proceeded on through the 50th street bridge to the Ocean City inlet, where we cruised past the beachgoers on the Assateague beach. There we were joined by a tall ship! As we displayed our US and Trump colors, too many boats and shore onlookers to count waved and cheered us on. We ended our seafaring adventure back at the home dock of Patriot's Pride pontoon boat, along with Jim's Courageous Chaparral, with dogs and burgers graciously supplied by the 41st RD. Thank you Jennie and Phil!

It is our plan to have a Freedom Flotilla annually as well, so plan to participate next year!
