There are some very important dates coming this week that we Republicans will need to be involved in to help ensure Election Integrity. The Sussex Department of Elections will be conducting several test runs of the election processes and procedures, on the Absentee and Early voting, leading up to this Primary Election. These processes and procedures are open to the public and will impact how the General Election will be conducted. These processes dates are open to the public but historically have been poorly attended. That will change this year, and we need your help to do it. The only qualifications you need for this are:
Care about election integrity
Be curious and ask questions
Report anything that doesn't make sense
Here are the dates and the times of the different DOE processes and procedures events this week. Please email to let me know which dates and times you can attend. Thank you, Patriots! The more we have, the better!

Absentee Ballots So Far
The latest tally of absentee votes has come in as of Friday, 8/16/2024, and yes, democrats still outnumber republicans in ballots returned. As of Friday, 77% of returned absentee ballots are from democrats and 23% are from Republicans. Soooo, please carry around Absentee Ballot Request forms with you at all times and hand them out to anyone who could use one. It is sooooo easy to complete the form, mail it back to DOE, receive your Hot Ballot, make your selections, and return it in the mail. See form below.
The last day to submit a request for a Primary Election absentee ballot to be mailed is Friday, September 6, 2024.
The deadline for the Department of Elections to issue absentee ballots for the Primary Election is Monday, September 9, 2024 at noon.
Absentee ballots must be received by the Department of Elections by Election Day September 10, 2024 at the close of polls, 8 p.m., in order to count.
