Legal Marijuana Set Up for Veto Override

OK here we go again, the socialist democrats are once again pushing HARD for legalized marijuana in Delaware against the recommendations of the Delaware Law Enforcement agencies. Legalization of marijuana has been shown to increase the abuse of other more dangerous drugs and lead to an increase in crime, not to mention the loss of productivity and work opportunities for young users.

Last year Governor Carney vetoed this bill after it passed both the House and Senate. Yesterday this bill passed the House again and is expected to easily pass the Senate. We all must contact Governor Carney now to again veto this bill to legalize marijuana use in Delaware.

One interesting vote on this House Bill, was that of House Speaker Pete Schwartzkopf who sided with the Republicans and voted against the legalization of Marijuana, thank you Representative Schwartzkopf! Please reach out to him as well, to continue to support the citizens of Delaware and to continue to vote for the best interest of Delaware. The socialist democrats have vowed to override the Governors veto this time. We will definitely need Rep. Schwartzkopf to stay strong!
