Meeting Monday 2/26: Caesar Rodney Institute Director, David Stevenson, Offshore Wind Update

If you would like to hear an update on the latest information about offshore windfarms coming to Delaware, you will not want to miss this meeting with our guest speaker, David Stevenson of the Caesar Rodney Institute, who has been working tirelessly to inform the public of the truth of offshore windfarms. Also at this meeting will be Senator Hocker and 38th Representative Ron Gray who will also speak on the bill they have recently proposed as a Senate Joint Resolution to ensure that foreign owned US Wind is accountable for their proposals.

This will also be a working meeting where we will be writing postcards to Governor Carney regarding offshore wind, so bring your pens and ideas! We will also have Stop Offshore Windfarm yard signs available to help spread the message of the widespread damage offshore wind turbines cause to the environment, our wildlife, and our economy. Your activism is needed now more than ever, with very real, tangible effects right here in our own 38th backyard.

Join the 38th Club and fill out some postcards that we will mail to Governor Carney. And pick up a Stope the Windfarms yard signs! Meeting meet and greet begins at 6:00pm and meeting starts promptly at 6:30pm.

School Board Election

We will also hear from District 4 School Board candidate, Joshua Hudson. The Indian River School Board election for school board district 4 will be May 14th. Come meet Josh Hudson and hear his platform and motivation for running for school board.

Republican State Committee of Delaware Convention

Save the date, Saturday May 18th, we will have the State Republican Convention. At the Convention Dinner there will be a vote for National Committee Man and Committee Woman. On Saturday, the Party will vote on State endorsed candidates for Governor, Lt Governor, Senate, Congress and President.

If you would like to be a Delegate to the State Convention on Saturday May 18th and help be a part of the process to shape the direction the Delaware Republican party, then please contact the 38th Representative District Chair (RDC), Michelle Parsons here.

I hope to hear alternative solutions instead of just railing against so called “Green Energy” and complaining because complaining with no solution is just whiny. Whiny is not the New Republican Way.
