We had an AMAZING meeting last night, well attended with over 75 members, three representatives, one mayor, two town councilmen, the Sussex GOP Chair and Vice Chair, the NCC Region Chair, Caesar Rodney Institute Director and our community activist guest speaker, wow! With this phenomenal convention of leaders and engaged citizens, we can get things done!
Special Election Postcards
Top, first, and foremost, we NEED YOU to send out the postcards for the Senate District Special Elections. Please download the Delaware Republican Party app in order to get addresses. You will also need a fine, permanent sharpie to write a message on the postcard.
Here's How to Download the DE GOP App
Go the Play Store or App Store and type in "Delaware Republican Party". This is what the app looks like:
You will need to register your name and phone number to activate your account. If you get an error downloading or registering the app, take a screen shot and text me please. 302-584-3216.
Then click on the tab with the 3 arrows in the upper left corners.
Once you click on the 3 arrows, you will see this screen. Click on Send Postcards.
Once you click on the Send Postcards button, you will see 2 tabs, click on SD5 POSTCARDS.
Once you click on SD5 POSTCARDS, you will see a list of voters in Senate District 5. Click on a name to bring up that person's address, and click START. This will let the system know you are working on this address, so someone else does not start writing a postcard to the same person. Address the postcard, write a note. Once you have completed writing your postcard, then click COMPLETE. This is a VERY important step, so we don't send multiple postcards to the same person. This app will track in real time.
Here is an example of 2 postcards and what you have room to write. I suggest signing your name and hometown, to let know Wilmington voters that we in Sussex County are rooting for them!
Please Complete By Monday
Since Early Voting starts February 4, please complete these postcards by this weekend and get in the mail no later than Monday please! You may consider paying for the stamps as your contribution to the Campaigns, or please keep your receipt and the 38th Club will cover your cost of stamps. ALSO, once you have completed and mailed your postcards, you can go back to the Send Texts button, and again, select SD5 button, and begin texting voters to vote in the Special Election. It's that easy!!
