Thank you ALL you signed up work the Election Polls for this Primary, General and Early Voting 2024 Election. Historically Republicans have been underrepresented as election workers being outnumbered by democrats almost 10 to 1. But NOT this year! This 2024 Election cycle Republicans represent 59%, that's FIFTY NINE percent of the election workers in the 38th District and 44% of election workers in all of Sussex County. Well done everyone!!

Challengers
Also very important, we will need Primary Election Challengers. Challengers will have the ability to go into the polling location, review the setup and processes. For example, double check that there are enough paper back up ballots available! We will have a checklist for our Challengers. Hours are flexible, though we will want our Challengers present when the polls open, or shortly thereafter. We need Challengers for Early Voting days as well as on the Primary Election date 9/10/2024. So please email info@38thdrcp.com if you are able to be a Challenger. We need YOU!
Drivers
If you can volunteer to give rides to voters or drive between the polling locations to deliver materials to/from our Challengers and our 38th GOP War Room, please email info@38thdrcp.com.
Exit Polls/Poll Greeters
If you can volunteer to man our GOP tents at your polling location and take exit polls, please email here. This is also a flexible position. It is best done with a partner, so enlist a friend!
Primary Election Preparation Dates
There are also several dates that the Department of Elections allows the public to witness their preparation of ballots and the electronic voting equipment. These are poorly attended. We need to change this as well. If you can be available to attend any of these events, please try your best to be a public witness! Your only job is to be curious and ask questions!! Please email info@38thdrcp.com and let us know which event you can attend.

Request An Absentee Ballot
You can also easily request an Absentee ballot. You can request an absentee ballot if you will be working that day (including working at the polls on election day), will be away, or will be unable to make it into the polls. All you need to do is visit the DOE's website, complete the form online, download the pre-filled form, sign and email/mail/fax back to the Department of Elections. The DOE will then send you a "Hot" ballot in the mail, or by fax or secure email (your choice). You then complete the ballot and email/mail/fax back to the DOE.
Help Someone Else Request An Absentee Ballot
More importantly, do you know someone who won't be able to make it to the polls? Then help them request an absentee ballot! You can print an unfilled form (see below for blank form) and bring it to them, help them fill it out and email/mail/fax back to the Department of Elections and the DOE will mail/email/fax a "hot" ballot right back to them, which the person will then complete and email/mail/fax back to the DOE.
What is odd, is that you can request the "hot" absentee ballot be mailed to any address.
How to Help Others Request an Absentee Ballot:
Carry blank Absentee Ballot request forms with you. See link to download and print.
Or go to https://ivote.de.gov/VoterView enter their name and other data, print the pre-filled form. They will nee to sign the form.
Take a photo of the completed Absentee Request form, and email the photo of the form to the DOE at absenteesc@delaware.gov
They will receive a reply by email stating that the Absentee Ballot was requested.
